Nike Eastside Rising Kickoff
The biggest high school rivalry west of the Mississippi needed Los Angeles’s and the nation's undivided attention.
Yearly turnouts result in the 7 to 10 thousand in attendance for football games, and other varsity sport matchups playing to a sold out crowd. Garfield and Roosevelt high school fight for not only the names on their chest, but for the dominance in the City they call home, East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights.
The Nike West team made sure to etch this moment in history with unparalleled access to marquee football product for student athletes, digital storytelling across the Nike LA channels and PR support which resulted in ESPN coverage. Not to mention a message from the one and only Kobe Bryant.
